Great to be on explorer forum, messed up and did not remove battery cable before working on vehicle (replaced thermostat), removed wire on top of alternator and it touched the alt. and I don't know if it shorted out my charging system, vehicle now not starting like the 175A is gone or battery or alt., checked fuses in side of dash and they look good. 2000 Explorer 4.0 SOHC, thanks very much.
