Howdy, just joined a couple of days ago. I just found this site, WOW. I have been a long time member of a Powerstroke forum, and am glad to see that there is something similar for the Explorer. I have a 2002 Explorer 4.0L V6 with an auto trans, it's absolutely stock. Actually it's the better half's car and I am not allowed to tweak it, just do all the regular maintenance and keep it running nice, so she's happy and in turn I'm happy.
I'm impressed, there is some excellent information on this site. It has already helped me with two issues. A howling differential
and the damned feedback sensor for the EGR, Ford diagnostics kept pointing to the PCM as being at fault.
