Newly married man needs reprieve

Kevin -

Post or PM the address and time... Will you have room to bring the four rims back to your place?

I don't know, it will be tough to decide where to put them. Let's see, the F-350, the Explorer, or the 20ft trailer. Hmmmmmmm:scratch:

Yes, I think I can find a place for them. It's funny you ask though cause I was just thinking about that about five minutes ago and was going to ask you the same question.

Thought you'd use the commuter car to go to Ken's (Tenino) this weekend; not take the F-350, Explorer, and trailer to help swap an engine and tranny. . . That's what I was referring to as far as "back to your place."

Address and Time ?

:banghead:
Anybody up for a mechanics party on Sunday in Tenino? We need to swap the motor Ken's truck and a manual tranny for another...

Four rims in the Focus?

HHHmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm:scratch:

No they won't fit. There's barely enough room for Kevin:cool:

I got my own problems to fix this weekend, besides I'm on call again.

My bad, I totally missed the stuff in bold in the title line that said "in for Sunday". I'll PM you the adress and a phone number as his house is just out of cell phone range. And yes, the Focus can handle the 4 rims since they are tireless. And I'll even fit too Phil. :p:

No worries, I figured you thought I meant for the weekend of the 21st. . .

Still need a time for this Sunday. . .

Don't have any super tools, anything in particular I should bring?

We've got the tools. Just need the hannds. Time is when you get there. Both Ken and I have somewhere else to be on Saturday so we're getting to a late start on the tranny swap(that's whats paying for the motor and manual t-case) and we might have to finish up Sunday morning. We have to do the tranny swap at the dudes house for some reason, but after that it's motor swap on Ken's rig. I can call you Sunday morning with an update if you want, I still have your cell #. Better yet, I'll text you Saturday night, probably late, with a status.

Hey Paul, how many frame mounts do your sliders have and where??

Mine are almost welded up, now I need to work out the mounting.

i want sliders...lol :)

Recon Rick comes through!

Rick was at Tahuya yesterday with some friends in FJ's and had an opportunity to check out Camp Spillman.

He reports the first 3 spaces (1,4 and 5) are big enough for trailers, campers tents and rigs and there weren't very many campers there at 4pm on a Saturday.

Here is his artistic rendition;

Ken's Explorer has been revived from it's encounter with the lake at Tahuya. Thanks for the help Paul. He's not sure if he's camping yet or not but assures he wiil be there Saturday for wheeling.

Weather permitting we (the wife and I) will be camping out there too...

I hope I get my Warn Manuals back in time, I just sent them out today.

Ryan

Spots 4 & 5 are side by side and really appear as one. Might be able to get everyone in that space(s)?? River is right behind these two although not flowing much as of last Saturday, but kinda cool to have near by me think.

Oh, and Belfair had 4" of snow today

I'll be there late Friday night. I'll probably leave my house about 7pm or so and it's a 3 hour drive. Ryan, I am counting on you to keep the fire going for me.

Let's say CB channel 7 and FRS channel 4 code 0 so when I get close I can be talked in since I have no idea where camp Spillman is.

Where exactly is it in relation exactly is Camp Spillman to our last couple of meets there at the staging area.

fire going and whisky flowing

continue up the road past our previous meet/camp (Effendahl Pass) about 1/4mile, turn left and looks like about 1/2 mile on you right.

Saturday Link-Up

What time do you guys plan on heading out from the camp to begin wheeling on Saturday morning?

I'll volunteer to guide the Saturday morning attendees up to Spillman from the Safeway - - how's 8:00 o'clock sound? That should get all of the Saturday drivers to the campsite before 9:00...

If the Saturday folks just want to meet at Spillman as they arrive, that's fine too, just throwing it out there. . .

Sound good?

Gotta have a Starbucks fix? (bring me one)

I'm not bringing a watch, so I have no idea what time we'll be doing anything. I'm just gonna follow everyone else~go with the flow. Gonna try not to think much this weekend.
