The vacuum boost is working; Pedal easier to floor when engine is running and there is significant vacuum on the hose. I CAN push the pedal to the floor without the engine running though.
RR is locking up when moving and the pedal mashed to the floor. Rear abs sensor is in the pumpkin and abs doesn’t control rear wheels individually (I probably have an issue with the LR shoes and the RR is doing most if not all the stopping)
No abs because the rear sensor is for both wheels and the MC plunger for the front is probably leaking and the front brakes aren’t working well enough to lock up a wheel.
One thing I did notice this evening. When I floor the pedal, the front of the rig moves to the right (I think it was to the right),could that be caused by one of the shoes in the RR slightly rotating the drum since one end is stationary?
I gotta put the rear on jack stands and remove the drums to see if both sides are working properly. Then look into replacing the MC and NOT getting air into the HCU
Everything I’m reading and all my symptoms are really pointing to the Master Cylinder.
I’m not sure why I was getting intermittent stiff pedal, soft pedal, floor pedal, abs pulsing and abs light coming down the FS road though. Now I ony have floor pedal and no amount of pumping build up back pressure.
Rick and I swap tested the relays and pedal still went to the floor, engine running.
I havent' found any threads where the HCU actually went bad, only that it got air in it and was a PITA to bleed.
