No 4 wheel drive!

Ok, heres what happened. As you can guess it was doing something that you would need 4x4 to help you out. I was out playing in some mub holes and I was gonna climb a muddy slope, put it in 4 wheel drive and drove up to the hill, started to climb and all it did was spin the rear tires. So when I got back home I lifted up the front and was looking and see if the transfer case was locked in and it was. So I turned the front wheels by hand and the passanger side axle turned with the tire, when I turned the driversside the axle didn't move at all. So I pulled the drivers tire off, pulled the hub and the insides of the hub turned inside the hub. I don't think this is right and is there anything that I can do about it, or am I gonna have to get a new hub?

Do you still have those sorry automatic hubs? if so convert them to manual hubs. I had the same problem, my passenger side automatic hub went out on me and I immediatly switched them to manual. You can get some at Napa for around $200.00 (which includes both driver & passenger hubs), and they are really easy to install if you're decient with a wrench. It only took me about 30 min. to switch mine. Good luck and hope its not something more serious.

I know I've been trying to get my buddy to take the pics, but he's slacking off. I think we're gonna take the pics this afternoon (8th) before I go out for my birthday. I've got the hood siting in my garage waiting to have pics taken.

Anyways, I've been wanting to get a set of manual hubs just haven't got the money right now. I've got a few things that I need/want just don't have the money right now.
