First off its a 1991 Explorer with the electric 1354. Im currently swapping in a m5od. It will go into 4x4 High but not low. I have the manual trans wiring harness in and i have a jumper across the neutral wires so it thinks its in neutral. Hold the brake down and hit the low button and nothing.

Also the next problem is none of the 4x4 lights work. The bulbs are good. I currently have hte cluster out so If there is anything I cna try to get them working let me know.

All this is just another reason why I want to find a 1354 Manual t-case. lol

Messes with it some today and hit the test button on the 4x4 module and the led stayed solid for like a minute or 2 then went off. Now it will not do anything. No click of the relays and will not got into 4x4.

Also I am not getting any power coming out of the w/lb wire going to the 4x4 switches.

Does solid red led mean the module is bad?

Guess I just found the answer to my question. Alldata says "A STEADY INDICATOR LIGHT, indicates that control module is inoperative and must be replaced."

Geuss its off to the junkyard.

Only tihng I can figure is something was always wrong with it and thats why it would got into 4x4 LOW or the lights never worked. Then it finally took a crap and none of it works now.

I get a different module and give it a try.
