No 4X4 low range on an 03 Explorer.

Hi All

I'm new to this forum and I'm a West Australian. There are some great tips and info on this site but I'm finding it a little hard to find exactly what I'm looking for for. So I was wondering if someone could help directly or maybe refer me to a particular post or member. My problem among others is that my 4x4 low will not engage when I push the button where do I start????

P.S if it is my shift motor I would be very keen to learn more about the manual linkage conversions.

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the transmissions & transfer cases section. Take a look at the sticky threads on the top of this section. They are loaded with information.

Dont know much on the newer stuff but do third gen's have the borg warner 1354? if so try the search button for transfer case motor rebuild. a lot of good info there. and if the rebuild doesnt work for you like it didnt for me a new motor is like 65 bucks at napa and solved my problem when 4lo didnt work.
