I've done some reading on the forum about my situation. I have a specific question though. I put my gauge, that comes with the recharge kit, on the low pressure side of our 2002 Explorer. I'm assuming I have the right one. The inline one on top of the radiator is too big. This one is on top of the accumulator and fits the gauge.
Anyhow, when I attach the gauge and run the A/C the pressure goes up and down with the compressor coming on. I don't remember it doing this on other vehicles that I've charged. Is this normal or does it indicate a problem?
Thanks in advance for your help in getting the wife some A/C. You know how that can make everything else on the list secondary.
