No brake lights/4-ways, also...Looking to buy new 1992 for parts, question.

Hey guys, I'm back. My last post I had a clutch problem. Worst thing of my life. Ended up taking it to a professional, they fixed it, and I took her for 3,000 mile fishing trip the last two months...

But, I haven't had brake lights for two months.

Here's the clues. It has to do with when I put the explorer on a car dolly to tow. We had to really yank on the steering wheel to turn it out of a tight place and while doing this something sounded like it snapped in the steering column. Since then I have not had 4-ways or brake lights. I also can not adjust my steering wheel now, I can't raise it up or down, it is stuck, I wonder if this has anything to do with it?

Also, I am looking at buying a 1992 Explorer, sport, manual. I have a 92' Eddie Bauer manual. Are these engines the same if I buy the new one as a future parts truck.

As far as using a Sport for parts; The engine is the same, trans is the same, drive shaft will not work, transfer case is the same.
