Just got a 1996 explorer/expediton. I put some pics up later but it was imported from Japan to here in Guam and thats what the model is called. Has a completly different tailgate than any US model with alot of small feature differences, Electronic folding sideview mirrows and side marker lights for starters, Speedo Gauges are in KPH no MPH lol. 
I'm waiting for my amp bypass to come so I can install the new headunit. I tried to use the changer but get a NO DJ error when I hit the CD button. The CD changer ejects without any issues. Have to replace the Headunit due to the fact it is japan freqs which only goes up to 89.9 on FM
