radio code error

i disconnected my radio to substitute it with a cd combi however cd one no good put old one back in entered key code but number 30 appears flashing then29 and so on untill number 1 appears then error code comes up again.the code is in the radio manual but the radio will not accept it,it looks like my month for problems.
