Hey,
I got everything hooked up in my car today. Door speakers work Excellent. But the subs I am having problems with. When i turn the subs on, And adjust the gain/freq./bass boost....no matter what combintaion, I cant get them to sound good! I have had these 2 x 12" CompVR's hooked up to a ZR240 amp and they hit real hard. But now with the new KX400.2 I cant get them to play good at all. the amp puts out 200RMS x 2 @ 2Ohms... And I have each 4Ohm DVC sub wired to 2 Ohms... Then a set of wire plugged into each channel on the amp. And i cant get any good sound.
What do I need to do? I have good grounds and wires?
Using a Pioneer Premier 740 HU. The Rcas are plugged into the Sub output.
Thanks
Kendal

Heres a little more about my problem:
I can adjust the gain and bass boost to a certain point and the subs move alot! Just like they used to look when they were real loud. But its like theres no sound?
There is sound but its not like its supposed to be.

It sounds like you have one sub wired out of phase causing them to cancel each other out. Just check your wiring, and as a quick test, reverse the polarity on only one sub simply by switching the positive and negative leads at the amp. Hope this helps.
