Mostly because in the stang people are always messing with me and cutting me off to try to troll me or trying to me race - none of that happens in the X, especially I think because of the brush guard and the fact that it's an old car, as far as the books are concerned they have more to lose so they let me go when I'm going and I literally never get cut, best they stay out of my way xD Though even though according to kbb its worth less than a grand, my dad bought it brand new and took really good care of it and mechanically it runs just like a new car, and the body still looks fresh and nice and shiny with no rust on the body, just underneath on the exhaust and stuff - got fresh tires, brakes and lines (cos they got rusted out) and a manual tranny, the 4.0 engine still runs like a champ and its got about 80k miles on it only.

Also cos here in the midwest winters the mustang feels very sus even with snowtires, and even though I don't do any offroading, I quite enjoy riding through snow in the X!

The not getting cut off part is huge. My favorite is how many times I get fast cars to spin tires to get ahead. They see an explorer start to gain on them and freak out.

Same here.
I just let 'em go by & figure that hot 'stang has a few months to live
before being wrapped around a power pole by the half wit driver.
I like watching the car crash videos on YouTube.

I got really small tires on mine that changed the gearing whenever people try and race me I usually win their all like wth it's funny too but mines all gutted loud exhaust. I think the torque is what makes them fun.

ONLY 80K! I'm jealous... same vehicle here... 95 4x... things to know about your 95 ...it was last year of OBD1 (inside OBDII connector is prop - OBDI located under hood)...95 has older style cam sensor / sychronizer with viewable markings screen......and IAC has large size connector...many online parts stores / ebay will sell you INCORRECT one that their books state work on a 95 ....it doesn't! ...same to a degree on aforementioned cam sychronizer assembly. However, with only 80K you wont have to worry about these two components for many years to come. Change the thermostat every few years (keep coolant fresh/ etc)....a failed thermostat could overheat your engine and crack the heads on this....only semi weak spot. Other than that you can get 400,000 on this engine.

you should try daily driving a 1988 Bronco II, you want to talk about fun to drive :)

I’ve got an ‘11 Challenger SRT8 in the garage. 10k mi. Showroom. Owned it since new.

I love it, but I almost never drive it. Maybe 500 miles a year.

I just enjoy driving the old Explorers more.

Ok, while confessions are happening, on any given day of my new Covid work from home situation, I try to take a ride to pick up some food, hardware, auto parts, etc. just for an excuse to get out. In the garage is a Jaguar XKR convertible, 420HP,, 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and a beautiful ride.
In the driveway is a 1995 Ford Explorer Sport with 32" tires, most of the trim chopped off, 3" exhaust and signs of rust. It is loud, rides like a Jeep and smells like gas. One guess which one of these gets the lion's share of drive time.

Hint. The top does not come down on the vehicle of the correct answer.

Likewise, I've got a '12 Challenger SRT8 with 8300 miles. Showroom and former show car. Rarely drive it but it's amazing fun.
