I have been looking for the LOM in the inside of the console like i have seen other people find them but mine in not there.. Not in the top right corner... Im having problems with my left headlight does not work, but the brights do, and my tail lights dont work.. but my breaks do.... and ideas what to do? I just bought this car and I have been working on it for a week now... I could use all the help i can get.

I’m assuming all fuses and relays are good? Correct bulbs? Not all of them had LOMs I believe.

Yep all good all fuses checked out even replace some that might of been bad, and relays are good.

Do you have a message that lights are out? If so then you have the LOM. If you have an LOM and a portion of it failed, "probably" it would be the resistors (solder joints) passing current to the lights and the remainder of it would still work to indicate the lights were out.

I would have expected it to be right under the message center in the console as you mentioned.

Use a multimeter to trace the circuit, determine if you have 12V in, and 12V out on each component in series starting at the top right of the following diagram:

Interior Fuse 11, headlamp switch (in park or on), park lamp relay. If you have 12V out from the park lamp relay but not making it to the bulb, then yeah you probably have a LOM somewhere or else a break in the wiring between the relay and the bulb.

I'll post this wiring diagram but am uncertain if it's the same for an '00.

no there is no message, so i don't think i have LOM, could a trailer harness do this? it has a towing ball on it

I don’t see a trailer harness being messed up effecting the headlights. Is there a harness plugged in under the rear taillights?

What's a LOM? (Light Out Message?)
Stupid question, but have you tried new bulbs?

(I ask because my headlights don't work but my high-beams do. So I ordered new bulbs and I'm hoping there isn't a deeper issue.)

LOM = Lamp Out Monitor

The only thing I've out on a '00 was a brake light and there was no message to that effect.
