i have a 2003 FWD 4.0L Ford Explorer with a 5r55w transmission. i have a problem, when i hit the gas of the line there is very little power it does not feel like the trans is slipping, the RPMs are normal just no power and only happens on take off. iv tried changing the trans fluid and filter, and replaced the solioniod body but the problem still exists. any one have any suggestions?

How is it if u take off the traction control? Some make a brown wire mod but my limiyed has a switch

The only traction controle is the automatic 4wd. It can not be turned off on mine.

Update: I tried resetting the computer by disconnecting the negatave terminal on the battery. After this there was no change. It's like the truck is starting in second. Also I'm occasionally getting some hard shifts and delay when I put it in to drive from park and the same for revurse. My brother said he had simelar symptoms in his explorer after rebuilding his trans. He said he had to reset the module but it was a series of key turns combined with shifting just can't remember the sequence. Any one have any suggestions. I'm trying to make dropping the trans a last resort effort. Any suggestions will help.
