Okay so, this pertains to my radio, that's why I'm posting here. If the mods don't want it here, please move it to the correct place.

Alright this morning I was attempting to remove my driver side sun visor so I can stick my cb up on the cieling. Well, when I got the last screw out and started lowering the bracket, Something sparked and now I have no radio, clock, dome light, or the annoying door chime. The main visor has the little vanity lights on it so I guess that's what did it.

What I'm wondering is, would that little spark have shorted out all of that wiring going to the light, door chime andstock radio headunit? I checked the fuse for the radio, but it's not blown so I'm officially confuzzled. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I can't live without my tunes :D

The fuses blow as a weak link in the system for such things, but they aren't always the only thing to go. With such thin wires as the ones going to the bulbs and accessories, it's possible that the short burned up the connections somewhere else.

Use the manual or get a flashlight and check under the dash and under the hood for blown fuses. If you don't find anything, you'll want to use a test light and check the wires of the affected circuits for continuity.

I checked out the radio fuse and it was good, but I didn't check out any others. Later tonight I will go check them out. I don't mind not having the dome light or door ajar chime thing, I just need to get the radio going again
