Check on the connection for a trlr harness under the drivers side rear tail light. If there is a harness. Remove it. Check trlr light fuse.

Ok. But what fuse is the trailor fuse. I don't have a manual to look at to see which one it is.

On a different note, my dash lights have been shorting out and they'll be on and off for long period's of time. As of right now they're off. Any help?

You can find a manual here; www.motorcraftservice.com click "owners guides" on the left.
Dash lights are probably related to the tail light problem.

Did you check for any visiable signs on the trlr harness?

So I found out that it was ALL my running lights... not just the tail lights, I guess I just never noticed the rest of them. I also found that it was the dash light dimmer switch shorting them out (Gotta nice burn from touching it). So as of now they're fixed, but I need a new switch.

Glad you found the problem. And thanks for letting us know what it was.
This could help someone in the future.
Thanks, Bill
