I have fixed almost every problem in my 99 sport. Today i was driving to school from work. Long story short, by blinkers arent working, i get pulled over by Manhatan beach police, i was like ahhh crap. I got lucky, gave me a warning.

I just ordered my chilton repair manuel but wont get here in time. The Bulbs work, i am pretty sure its going to be the relay or the whole turn signal assembly.

Were is the hazzard/flasher relay located in the 99. I did a search on the website and on google. Most places tell me its underneath the driver dash. I couldnt find anything. I looked in the fuse box in the engine compartment but i couldnt figure out what was what. The owners manuel completely sucks.

It may be the multi-function switch/stalk.. First thing I'd recommend doing is with a multimeter check for contuinity in the bulbs & wiring.. If those check out fine, then check the fuses: 21 & 22.. If those all check out then more than likely its your switch/stalk as I mentioned before.. Its a common issue.

Dam, thats odd. I am surprised they dont have a relay, when i went to autozone they sold me a relay when i told them my turn signals were not working. I am going to go return it.

But no one has been able to answer me that question in this forum. Does the 99 have a flasher relay? If So, were is it located?

neither the hazzard or turn signals work. The lights do word when i turn my headlights on

I assume that you checked BOTH fuses that drive the flashers with a meter... right???

i checked and replaced the fuses, the part was $12.

yea I checked the Fuses, the Only Thing

I dont know were that Flasher is at

Alright, this sorta sounds like a problem I'm having, butmy truck is a 93 Sport. When I turn on the signals (either left or right) they may flash once the entire time i have them on. Same goes for the 4-way flashers, they may flash once or twice, but usually with 30 seconds to a minute between them. I've got to tow a trailer this weekend and i want my signals working....nobody seems to have really answered the question, is it the flasher and where the hell is it?

ohh yea, well i solved the problem, it was the flasher, and it in located under the dash. Its lined up with the steering wheel. ITs not that far up under the dash it should be just right there.

THe reason i couldnt find mind was because it was a yellow colored flasher, that was a first for me so i was just looking around it. It wasnt until i was playing with the hazzard switch and stuck my head underneath the dash that I was able to determine by hearing the clicking sound of were it was, right in front of me:D
