no start after changing coolant temp sensor

Changed engine coolant temperature sensor now vehicle will not start it cranks but won't start and out of ideas please help

Is it possible there's another sensor (crankshaft position, throttle position, etc.) that got disconnected and not plugged back in securely? It never ceases to amaze me, even/especially on my own stuff, how often it's the simple stuff... Chris:exp:

If only that was the case I checked and double checked and everything was connected

A disconnected coolant temperature sensor (assuming that it's the one that serves the engine computer, not the gauge) may result in excess fuel injected, but very hard to believe that this will cause a no-start. It's time to follow the 'no start' procedure (been posted here many times - search).

What prompted you to swap out the sensor in the first place...a no start situation? What brand is the replacement? Did you remove anything else while getting at that sensor? I assume you've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the plug...and, any others you might have disconnected along the way? Go back over everything you touched again while doing the job.
