So I think I have remedied the car by replacing the coil pack and camshaft position sensor (I'm guessing that may have been the culprit in the first place) No codes were being thrown, but the symptom was the vehicle would not fire after normal operating temp reached. Let sit over nite and she'd fire up...I have had other vehicles with a similar condition...crank angle sensor, camshaft position sensor, ignition module etcetera...anyrate my question is can the camshaft position sensor cause a no start condition after the vehicle gets hot?? or most likely the coil? I replaced the coil as Im guessing it was the original with 128k miles. meter test shows coil good, but that's with it cold....the old cam sensor reading 0 across the two terminals, but not sure if that's a way to test it or not....it's magnetic..as i discovered after i had a screw get picked up by the business end...
