I am really stumped here guys, I have a 2008 Ironman 4.0 explorer that will not start unless the throttle body motor is disconnected. I have replaced the throttle body, the motor, as well as the accelerator pedal. Nothing seems to have solved this issue. Once it starts (without the motor connected) I plug it back in and still have no throttle response. It runs for a few seconds to a minute then dies out. My fuel gauge is all over the place and no mileage is currently being shown. I have the gold wrench of death and the check engine light showing. I have used several low end scanners and nothing will read the engine code. Any help would be appreciated.
