I have A 2015 explorer sport and started to notice a thumping noise coming from
Front drivers side. After looking under hood and car everything seems normal. It only occurs at low speed and if your stopped and push down on front end.
I have 15k miles. Anyone else come across this issue plan on bringing to dealer in the morning.

If you are handy, try injecting 3M window weld into the front, lower, rear "hydro" bushing on the control arm - do both sides of each bushing, left and right. If that's what is causing your thumping (likely) this product will stiffen the bushing up and stop the noise. It won't last forever, but it's a good way to test to see if that's the issue and it only takes 15min. and a tube of the stuff.

A new MOOG bushing is about $40 each side. The control arms, which include the ball joint, are around $130/arm. They need to remove the arm to get the hydro bushing off, so you may as well replace the arm while you are in there replacing the front, lower, rear "hydro bushing" I.E., you would then have a fresh FRONT control arm bushing and ball joint.

I had a noise coming from the drivers side and it turned out to be the inner fender well. When I checked it was just a little loose right behind the strut so I took out the retainer that holds it on, made a plastic washer, put it on the retainer like you would put a washer on a screw and put it back on and it fixed it.
