Hallo Guys.
I have two questions about my explorer.
(99 Europe Mod.)

1. I hear a "squiky" noise from the roof.
That noise is very nerved.
It sounds like plasic rub on plasic or metal.
If i press the roof cover with the hand it's silence.
Have anyone an idea?

2. It's possible to programm the central that to closing the doors will quit with the turn inticators?

Thanks for every idea....

I think it's a gremlin, like the one in the twilight zone... Do you have a roof rack? Maybe it's just a bit loose and rubbing around when the explorer sways and moves.

No Way! I have the same damn problem...it's been annoying me for years. I do have a sunroof however I don't think it has to do with that. It's coming from above the drivers seat, kinda more towards the top of the door. Whenever I push on the roof it stops...VERY annoying. I haven't noticed a pattern of when it occurs. It's quite often and occurs in all situations: idling, driving on a smooth flat surface, driving on a bumpy surface - everything!

Does the sound come from near the top of the seatbelt connector near the roof?

Well, it's in that area, it's certainly coming from the roof though.

No..it's not a Gremlin
(I have use a anti-gremlin Spray)

The roof rack is not mounted.

Seriously though now that you guys mention it I know what you're talking about. It's something that plagued my Bronco II and I never got rid of it.
