Noise in speakers

I have a '97 with a factory system and cd changer. WHen I am charging my cell phone with either the cigarette lighter powerpoint or the powerpoint on the side of the console and listening to a cd at the same time I here a high pitch "hummmmm" coming through the speakers. I then installed a noise filter underneath the console going to the powerpoint on the console, and the noise is still there. Should I pull out the headunit and hook it up there instead??????

The reason for the humming noise is because of the interference created by your cell phone. You will notice it will hum less the further away it is from your radio. The only solutions I know for this is purchasing a new casette/cd receiver.
