noise problem

hello im new to all these, i have a 97 ford exploer sport it runs and drives fine but there is a whineing noise and it sounds like its comeing from transmision. like i said everything is running and shifting fine but worried about noise. can anyone help?

Welcome to this forum! Does it sound like it's coming from the bell housing area?

not to sound stupid but where exactly is the bell houseing, all i can pin point is its comeing from tranny area or transfer case and weels .

The bell housing is in the front between the transmission, and the engine where the torque converter is located.
