Non-explorer, stalling.

Okay... my girlfriends friend has the Geo Prism or whatever... manual. It idles Ok, but when you give it gas, it stutters and or stalls. However... if you give it gas VERY slowly you can run the RPM's up. And ideas whats up? They both got stuck today at an intersection that was uphill and had to be towed out... sigh.

Check the air and fuel filters, could be either..shoulds like to much of one and not enough of the other..

Yeah but that quick? Hmm... oh well. not my problem. Im curious to see whats up. I think its a fuel problem.. but thats just me.
