Non platinum spark plugs

I need your help:
I have a '94 XLT V6 4L. Can I use non platinum spark plugs? Motorcraft # is AWSF 42C.
What is the correct gap for this kind of spark plugs?

I can't comment on that particular brand, unless that is what is recommended.

As for non-platinum, yes you can use them but you will have to change them again around 20k - 30k. The correct gap is .054 but there have been some issues with using this gap. Try using somewhere between .044 and .050.
