Not going in to park easy something in column

not shure whats going on but when i go to put it back in park it is like it has a stop in the column that makes you move it back and forth when pulling up to get it in park,when you get it in and go back to drive then back to park it works fine.can someone tell me whats wrong!!

Welcome to this forum! Does it have this problem if you step on the brake pedal while putting it back into park? There is a TSB on the interlock solenoid.

yea that must be it but it is backwords it is just from drive to park not park to drive
