I have been a member for awhile here but never planned on getting involved in my Explorer like I seem to be trying to do now. I have a lot planned and would love for you to comment on the ideas and such. As a long due hello to everyone, hey guys and girls (I know there are a few).
My name is Patrick and I will finally turn 21 on April 2nd.
I live in the triad area in High Point, NC.
I have a 97 Ford Explorer XLT SOHC 4x4 with 161,x.. or so miles.
I never really thought of doing any mods to it but when looking at the site I just had to lift it. First came the TT along with the AAL and Shackles, thanks to the help of member, Slravene. I was running some 31 BFG All Terrains until they wore out and I decided to upgrade to some 32 BFG MT's I picked up off a local bud. I have a 3 inch body lift ready to get on and the plan is that it will be going on April 11-13th.

Other plans include:
-Getting rid of lower variance
-Once rid of lower variance move to lower grille slot
-Rid all chrome off bumper and front grille
-Paint where it was once chrome bumper and grille to black to match body
-Cut grille in front to accomodate billet grille
-Paint some interior pieces black
Seems like enough for the upcoming month to try and get done. After looking at so many other users Explorer's here I am ready to try and make my Explorer a little less different that the rest.
Let me know what you guys think!
As for some pics:

Thanks for looking!
