ok guys I need the help from you explorer experts.
I have a nagging clank coming from somewhere in or around my left wheel. I have been told it was the hub...replaced that....no help. Then they said it was the brakes....replaced....no help. I am at a complete loss and have sunk a substantial amount of money into this.
If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 94 x 4 wheel drive
abs
semi automatic hubs(lock outs and a button inside)

When does it clank? Rhythmic or random? Related to engine speed, vehicle speed, bumps, turns, phase of the moon?

the clank is rythmic and directly linked to vehicle speed.
Bumps and turns have little effect on it.
