I'm am really getting frustrated with these d@mn birds!!!! I just had my X painted in January and bird droppings have faded two areas on my paint in spite of the fact that I immediately washed them off the surface upon their discoveries. Yesterday when I was at work, I parked my car at 7:30 and came back out at 6:00 and there it was, but when I washed it off, there still remains a dull area the size of the dropping. How can I resolve this???
Thanks!!
Greg

wax

Try a little bit of wax, like what Mike said. If that doesn't work, try something more aggressive like 3M's SMR or Maguiar's Scratch X.

The one on the roof I waxed after polishing three times and it still didn't come off. One of my friends at work also suggested the meguiars scratch-X also...might just have to try it...
Thanks!

if its that bad you could invest in a car cover i know thats sucks but it will work.

That's what I was thinking too...hmmmm.

I haven't had this problem before but maybe try and buff it out
You could also ask the guys that painted your X.

did you get a cheap paintjob?

did you get a cheap paintjob?
Ohhh that hurts!!!! but good question ;)
No this was a $3100 custom paint job with a great reputation, so I wouldn't think it'd be too bad. I'll try buffing it more tomorrow but we'll see

Get a pellet gun. Kill all suspected creatures. That would be my solution if I spent 3100 on a new PJ. :D

:D :D :D :chug:
