Worked on a late 90's Beretta today.
Don't follow this guy's idea.

He cut his hood release cable and pulled it through the fire wall so he could have a place to run his power cable.

Not the best idea in the world.

To pop the hood he had the left over wire just hanging down. You had to lay on your back and reach up to open the hood.

Just thought I would share this story for what ever reason.

epecially since late 80s/early 90s berettas and corissicas had hood lath problems to begin with....there was a big recall or TSB about it.
 


















be careful, i come from a GM family and we have 2 chevys and an olds in the driveway (one just happens to be an '03 vette). out of the 3 vehicles i have owned, none were GM but we are selling the 91ex to help pay for an '00 cavalier.

oh, dont get wrong i love my ford truck.....would never own any other brand, but, neither ford nor chrysler can make a decent, reliable car. i learned that one the hard way.
 






i know, just playing. but i will disagree the ford mustangis a reliable car atleast my 2 were. 100 k outta both no probs at all. and i raced them.
 






I had 2 mustangs also that were very reliable, drove them year round too.
