- 2002 mercury mountaineer
Hi,
The AC of my 02 mercury mountaineer started malfunction from last winter, first it was blowing cold air in winter then warm/hot air in summer. I gather that's basically ambient air that haven't pass through either compressor or heat core, and the blend door is most likely at fault.
I have followed the following tutorial and got to the point of removing lower duct. But after that, I couldn't locate the actuator(s). The tutorial indicates there is only one actuator, but parts store like rockauto indicates there are actually two actuators, one on left side and another on right side.
Is there any difference in procedures to replace actuator(s) in units with automatic/dual climate control?
Thanks in advance.
