i am planning to chamge out my struts in my 02 expl, and manual says i need to use new hardware, the nuts used to fasten the struts to the rest of the suspension. can i buy the hardware at a local autostore, like napa, autozone, oreilly, etc? if so, anyone know the part #s for them?

thx

My new struttek front strut assemblies came with new bolts

I re-used the lower mount bolt and also re-used the nuts that attach the top of the strut to the upper mount. Have had no issues with that.

If you want new nuts just get some grade 8 flange nuts that will fit a 8mm 1.25 pitch thread bolt and that will work fine, or you can use regular grade 8 nuts of the same dimensions with a nylon lock insert at the top and put washers between them and the upper strut mount.
