O/D Button Blinking

I have a 1995 Ford Explorer XLT and couple of days ago my O/D button keeps flashing and it feels like my car is losing power. I just bought the car and it's very frustrating because in order for me to reach 20 miles an hour it brings the RPM's very high and it takes a long time. I hope someone can help and let me know what it is.

Simple answer could be a bad seal/gasket that is causing pressure leak. Worst case is
the tranny is shot. There are hundreds of posts about the tranny and how to diagnose/repair yourself. Do some searching using the search button above and start reading. If I'm not mistaken, you have the 4R55E transmission, basically an electonic version of the A4LD.
