O/D light blinking need help

got a 99 explorer 2 WD bad trans when i got it so i put a tranny in and bam O/D light stays blinking, drives good and on the expressway

anything would help thanks andy

Pull the codes and see what they say. Also, reset them and see it the problem comes back. When the OD blinks, the trans should go into limp mode which means hard shifting. Are you experencing that?
