Hi folks,
I have a Ford Ranger 4x4 with just 30t kl on it and it keeps jumping out of O/D. It rives up and then jumps out of O/D and the O/D light/Icon on the dash panel keeps flashing. It will do so until I turn off the ignition. Then it is okay for awhile after I start the truck again.
However, after driving it for awhile, especially in slow speed, it will rive up, as if transmission not engaging, very high rpm's, and same thing all over again. Had it back to the dealer and they reprogramed the computer. Claims it will take a couple thousand KL for the computer to get use to my driving, according to the lady at the front desk.
Anyone, have any idea what is going on here?
