O2 sensor

What happens when you get an O2 sensor wet? When I flooded my truck the entire exhaust was under water. When I got it starter 2 days later it blew water out for hours.

Could getting an O2 sensor wet cause an engine to run roughly?

an excellent Q..... and one I doubt few can really answer. They should dry out.... so unless there was some muddy coating left behind.....

be interesting to know what voltage(s) it is outputting. The proof would be in the pudding, so to speak.

Yes, and can they be properly cleaned, if cleaned at all...
