Can anyone tell me if it is possible to convert a '94 which would be OBD-I compliant to OBD-II. I would like to get a diagnostic setup for my laptop, but all of the ones I have seen require OBD-II.

Or,....if anyone knows of any laptop/software setup that I can use with my OBD-I '94 that would be great too. Thanks.

LOL, wish I could help you, but I have NO idea what you are talking about. I guess call me a dummy. LOL.

I highly doubt it, there are more sensors with OBDII than I. A lot more complicated codes and such too. There may however be a laptop program out there for OBDI I'm not really sure tho.
BTW OBD=On Board Diagnostics I or II. II being from 96+

This is how:

Get a 96+ engine and computer, then get a custom chip to work with your transmission (unless you use the new one).

So, no.
