OBD I code reader

Does anyone make a code reader that reads the codes on a 92 explorer? I was wondering because my engine stumbles when accelerating but then smooths out. I figure i need to see if it has any codes even though the check engine light is not on.

There are a lot of OBD I code readers.

You can pick up an OBD-I (EEC-IV) code reader from Wal-Mart or one of many auto parts retailers for around $35-$40. Or, you can read the codes yourself for free: http://www.dalidesign.com/hbook/eectest.html
