Hey Everyone, I got a new toy. I bought a OBD scanner from Lemur and it's called Bleudriver. It's for any car that's 96 or younger.

The connection is via bleutooth so there are no wires and you can leave it plugged in while you drive. The connector is $40,- with free shipping world after purchase you just intall the app on your ipad, iphone or ipod.

Without any additional cost it will read the codes stored by the car. If you want to readout anything and everything there is a in app purchase of an additional $50,- or so to unlock all the gizmo's.

I'm very happy with it because workshop around here charge about $75,- for a readout. And I can helpout friends with any kind of car for free...

Usually on the OBD I cars you could read the codes without a scanner, by counting some flashes of the Check Engine lamp. Exact procedure varies from manufacturer to manufacturer:

No, it doesn't seem to read ABS codes. Or at least i haven't seen any reference to it on the scantool.
