od light and check engine light on

Got a question for anyone that can help me!! I have a 96' explorer sport auto 6 banger. ,recently the od light started flashing and check engine light came on. I replaced the od switch in shift lever but symptoms are still there. I'm getting some clunking during the shifting sequence. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Welcome to this forum! You have a trouble code which needs to be retrieved. This is most likely a manufacturer specific transmission code which needs a special scanner. An ordinary cheap scanner isn't capable of reading these codes.
