od not shifting,92 ranger 4x4,4.0l

It shift well 1-2-D .oil is ok.maybe a little bit too much....approx---500ml.Oil is clear,,,,,,,no bad odors.So i think it could be a electrical problem.I would like to know if its a easy job to fix.
