Is there a good place to buy OEM parts online? Or even just maintnence stuff? That stuff doesn't have to be oem. But i want to replace the v-belt, rad hoses, etc. I tried searching, but no luck.

thanks!

Napa Auto parts has Napa Online, it isn't OEM as in FORD name brand stuff. Why wouldn't you want to go directly to a parts store for parts? Belts, hoses, things like this are pretty much the same.
Napa (if there is one in your area) sells pre-bent hoses if you're concerned about replacing the smaller heater and engine hoses (not the upper and lower radiator hoses that is).
I've experienced the "YOU HAVE TO BUY BULK HOSE" response you get at AutoZone to many replacement requests I have had in the past so I avoid them if I am wanting factory-styled pre-bent pre-formed hoses smaller heater hoses.
I once purchased a new timing chain for my 1989 Mustang GT Convertible. When I (my daughter) got into my Mustang's timing cover (I was showing / helping her work on my car) I found the set I got at Napa had the exact same casting numbers in the gears as the ORIGINAL one did. The car only has 106,000 miles on it right now.

When you search online do you put the search item you are looking for inside of "quotation marks" to cut down on all of the nonsense hits you get from your search engine? Example "explorer heater hose"

For the easy stuff......I'd look to save on shipping..........buy local.

While you're there......get to KNOW the parts guys. Sooner or later......you'll be back, for more parts.......build that RELATIONSHIP. There will come a time when you'll ask for their advice.....or ask to have a part, "bench tested."

Depending on where you are.. sometime shipping is cheaper than the tax..

Torrie at fastparts network works well. If I can't find it in his catalog, I can email him and he can tell me what it costs..

For real ford parts he is always about 40-50% cheaper than the local dealer, even after taking into consideration the shipping vrs tax price.

Never go dealer unless no one else has the part.
