Hello everyone. This is my first post and i hope someone can give me some useful information... I need some good off road lights. I have searched and haven't found too much info. I don't want fog lights, i want some bright lights for trial off roading in the middle of the night. Also are there any bushgaurds around. I have only found one style available off explorer express. Thanks for all the help in advance.

I love my Explorer Pro Comp lights, very bright and not expensive at all.

Could you give me a link so i could check them out?

i got my lights from walmart...then i went to orielllys and replaced the bulbs with 100w...and omg it made a big difference...$20 for the lights then $10 for the new bulbs and im happy....if ur money tight that would prolly be the best solution...

thanks for the help so far. I have heard that the walmart lights leak and arn't that bright. id rather stay away from products like that. (no offense) any other suggestions?

iv had these for like 2 years no problems...hmmm..oh well ur bast bet is to get them off of the net..

no problems huh? i read on some forums that people where getting water in the lights that they got from walmart. id rather get something more trust worthy with a warranty. I dont mind spending money..

i guess i just happened to get the good set then...i have two pairs of walmart lights one i have in my bumper and that takes on water alot but the lights themsleves never take in water..and my tops ones havent taken in water et either..but now that u mentioned it.. when we finish the engine swap tomarrow ill prolly take some clear silicone around the sides just to make sure...what can it hurt..

engine swap? are you droping the 5.0 in it? Nice.

naw the 4.0 blew tuesday... dont have the money to get the adapter for the t-case and tranny other wise id do a 5.0 swap..just replacing it with another 4.0 with 74k on it basically untill i ge tthe money for a 5.0

Alright i did some more searching and found the on JC Whitney they have some pretty good prices on lights. They have the KC Daylighters for 130 bucks. They also have other 150 watt lights for 30 bucks. My question is has anyone tried these generic lights from JC Whitney? I think i might just go with the KC since they are such a good price and seem more reliable.
