Do anybody here have off road lights or know of any good ones to buy? I'll be converting my headlights to hids's next month and need good off road lights as well...

Don't go HID in the stock housings, they're not meant for them and could possibly end up in a fine if the police see it.

Best to stick with add-on flood & spot lights but you also need to know your local laws. They can limit you to a certain number of lights and certain height range from the ground. Unless you like covering your offroad lights, it's best to stay within the legal requirements.

That said, LED's are expensive. Light bars can be nice but it's tough to find an affordable and reputable manufacturer. IMO, you're best to stick with PAR style lights since you can swap in/out spot/flood and different wattages in the same housing. Course, there's also halogen with replaceable bulbs or foglights or HID style housings. Many ways to go.

What are your goals, what do you want out of the lights?

I'm not putting them in stock housing as I've done custom autos for years... I'm buying new housings, projectors, bulbs, amp etc to create custom hids for my truck.

As for the lights they need to be at least 6000 lumes.... and a wide scope... I work on cell phone towers at night and need the light when off road but never really had any deals with them.... I get a good bit of this stuff wholesale which helps but I don't know what's good out there

Don't do what I do. I did HID conversion into my stock headlights one of the best mods to my truck. I also run a pair of 48w 4" LED Spot beams that cost $38.00pr I use them as night time headlights on the street and as day time running lights.

What the lumens on the ones you have? And I won't lol. .. I'm adding a projector and an aftermarket housing for the light along with upgraded harness etc... Maybe I'll do a write up if it's never been done here... I'm not sure as I haven't looked.

Philips D2S 4300K 3200LM

I used Bi-Xenon projector from a Nissan Murano
