Official Sport Trac specific CL finds, post here to help others...

I think it would look good if it was lifted and had some 33's or 35's

I think it was a member with a post or two. The bumper design was from the tactical armor group fullsize truck bumper design I believe. That rear bumper would get snagged on streets around here not to mention offroad. My rear bumper I built for mine is damn near flush with the bed, I actually plan on bobbing the bed on my truck if I even keep it on which I probably will just to keep the cops happy.

That who built it, I remember they posted on here or another forum saying they were going to start building bumpers for the ST. They look beefy but I've seen their bumpers after taking hits from different accidents and they collapse like nothing.

Hah, they're from my hometown. Maybe I should swing by and talk to them next time I visit my parents.

I sure wish I could picture that on a lifted ST better but I don't think it's what I want. Just too much bulk. I like when they look like part of the truck, not like "I've got a giant hunk of metal."

EDIT: Looks like there's lots of warnings on other forums about this company. If anyone is interested in them because of what I have posted, do your homework.

I'll run down and get a poser shot for the company! My favorite bumper is still the one 1-Mean-X made for his green 3rd gen sport just minus the stinger. Really tight body lines and didn't stick out a ton

I had something similar posted about 1-Mean-X's bumper but deleted it before posting.

To get back to the CL finds here's a parts truck. He also has the OEM bedcover

And this is a new Superlift kit for $1200 if anyone's interested in a poser lift :D

I wonder if that's for the complete front and rear or just the front box kit.

I couldn't tell but I got the impression it was for the front.

Yea , I've seen the front box kit go for around $800 online. Can't remember where but it's still overpriced. SAS is cheaper.

If I could do a SAS cheaper than $1200, it'd have been done long ago. What am I planning wrong? I'm looking at around $7k.

Yeah mine was way more than 1200. The regear alone cost me that.

I was talking about basic parts, not all the added gears and other stuff. Link setup is tons cheaper and easier to do, wish I had just gone that way from the start instead of leafsprings. High steer setup is a lot alone. Wouldn't need that if I went linked.

Dude get it, these are really hard to find anymore and that's one matches your truck which is a huge bonus. That's a great price too. Once you get a cap you'll wonder why you never got one before.

^ +1

Yep, what they said. I knew I wanted one and looked on CL every day for a year and a half before I found one locally. It's still the only one I've seen for sale here, but I'm not looking every day either. I'm on the road most days and see lots of Sport Tracs, but very, very few with a topper. I've had Rancheros and F-Series pickups with toppers, and I always got tired of them and would take them off for a while just for the change. I don't see that happening with my ST.

You could easily sell it if you change your mind
