Is it better to have a high ohm rating or a low ohm rating? I always thought the lower the number the less resistance.

Did some research and read that Magnacore wires have less than 250 ohm of resistance. People really seem to love these wires. Then read up about the MSD wires which has less than 50 ohms of resistance.

Trying to figure out which one is better or is it just hype?

If you don't have a multi-meter I'd get one. Once you have one you will wonder how did I get along with out one. Then again you may have one. And then like the site spindlecone posted measure to see if there in factory specs. There are some specs that say you measure the wire for right length and then measure resistance.
