How do i tell if i have the 4.0 ohv or 4.0 sohc engine in my 99 X?

Check you VIN number 1FDMU34X7VZB95799

The "X" in the 8th position would tell you you have a OHV.

Pop the hood and see what the plastic engine cover says. The SOHC says SOHC on it and the OHV says 4.0 EFI or something to that effect

205?? Mine has the 245hp SOHC

I believe the SOHC made 205HP and 245 lb-ft of torque? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure.
