not exactly what you want to hear but do a search for sevice manual. somewhere on this site is a link to download the service manual for ford trucks. try that it would probably be your best bet

bump!! the manufacture of the oil filter adapter claims it is a m20-p1.5 can anyone support what they are telling me? Id hate to buy it try to install it and it doesnt fit.

Go to an autostore and see if a M20-p1.5 bolt screws into a filter hole. Or take a filter to a hardware store. On my '91 the oil filter fitting is a nipple, i.e., the same thread sizes for the vehicle and the filter.

after a bunch of searching around.... Ive found 2 answers either 22m 1.5p or 3/4in-16
anyone else care to throw in another size?

2006 thread.

If the engine uses the Motorcraft FL-820S filter, it's M22 x 1.5. Same size as the timing chain hydraulic tensioners.

I just installed a oil pressure gauge on my 03 trac, used a 1/4 npt tee to keep the original gauge and the additional sender working.
